New Year Giveaway Terms and Conditions
1. Promoter
The competition is organised and promoted by Empower First Aid (“the Promoter”).
2. Eligibility
The competition is open only to individuals who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.
Entrants must be resident in the Republic of Ireland.
Employees of the Promoter, their immediate family members, or anyone professionally connected with the competition are not eligible to enter.
3. How to Enter
Entry instructions will be provided as part of the competition announcement.
Only one entry per person is permitted, unless otherwise stated.
No purchase is necessary to enter.
4. The Prize
The prize consists of the choice of a place, for one person, on a First Aid Response or First Aid Response Refresher course.
The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be sold or gifted.
The prize may only be used by the named winner.
The prize must be redeemed by 31st January 2028
5. Winner Selection and Notification
The winner will be selected at random from all valid entries received.
The winner will be notified via social media on the 3rd February 2026.
If the winner does not respond within 7 days, the Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner.
6. Prize Use, Cancellation, and Fees
Once the winner has claimed and confirmed acceptance of the prize, it is considered redeemed.
If the winner books onto a course and then cancels, they will be required to pay a €30 fee in order to join a new or alternative course.
Failure to pay this fee may result in forfeiture of the prize and/or future participation.
7. No Cash Alternative
No cash or other alternatives will be offered in whole or in part.
8. Liability
The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected, or incomplete due to technical or other reasons beyond its control.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Promoter shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from acceptance or use of the prize.
9. Data Protection
Personal data provided will be used solely for the administration of the competition and in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
By entering, participants consent to such use of their information.
10. General
The Promoter reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel the competition or these Terms and Conditions if circumstances beyond its control make this necessary.
The Promoter’s decision in all matters relating to the competition is final and binding.
The Promoter retains the right to refuse participants.
11. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Ireland, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
