This FAR Blended Course is specifically designed for those involved in the equestrian world—riders, instructors, yard staff, event organisers, and horse owners—who want to be fully prepared to respond to medical emergencies in an equine environment.

Accredited by the Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Council (PHECC), this course meets the national standard for workplace first aid training in Ireland and is recognised by equestrian organisations and insurance bodies.

Course Format:

Blended Learning: Complete the theory section online at your own pace, followed by a two-day, hands-on practical session focusing on scenarios relevant to equestrian life.

National Certification: Upon successful completion, you’ll receive a PHECC-recognised FAR certificate valid for 2 years.
